Peter G. Dodge

Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Peter Dodge is the Founder and CEO of Hanover Research. Hanover's mission is straightforward, if not simple: We help corporations become smarter, grow, and create jobs, and we help non-profits improve outcomes for all of the constituencies they serve. We do so by providing marketing and strategy research primarily to the Education and Enterprise sectors, and grantsmanship services to the Education, Healthcare, and NGO sectors. Prior to founding Hanover Research, Peter served in sales and consulting capacities at The Advisory Board Company. He is a graduate of Washington & Lee University with a degree in European history.

Wesley D. Givens

President & Chief Content Officer
As President and Chief Content Officer, Wes spends the majority of his day overseeing content production, relationship management and client satisfaction for Hanover Research. His reach also extends into strategy, sales, and operations. One of Hanover’s earliest employees, Wes has hands-on experience in nearly every role, and has been involved in each stage of the company’s development. Prior to joining Hanover, Wes served as a proprietary derivatives trader and market-maker for a commodities trading firm, and prior to that worked in financial sales and marketing. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Hanover Research and graduated from Washington and Lee University with a degree in European history.

Gretchen Novak

Chief Marketing Officer 
Gretchen serves as the Chief Marketing Officer, maintaining responsibilities for marketing and client relations outreach for Hanover Research. Since joining Hanover, she has worked with a wide range of clients, both domestic and international, and has been involved with directing the firm’s thinking on marketing, branding, strategy, and sales across all industries. Prior to joining Hanover, Gretchen worked in policy and resource mobilization for the United Nations. Gretchen earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in international relations from Seton Hall University.

Marcelle Wood

Chief Human Resource Officer
Marcelle is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Hanover Research, overseeing all recruiting, retention, employee relations, and human capital activities. Her ten years of human resources experience has included prior roles recruiting executive educators, researchers, and consultants at The Corporate Executive Board and World Vision International. She also worked as a human resources generalist at Veolia Environnement in South Africa. Marcelle holds her undergraduate degree in education and literature from The University of Pretoria in South Africa and a human resources certification from Damelin Management School in South Africa.

Ryder Kenerson

Chief Information Officer
Ryder is the Chief Information Officer of Hanover Research. He provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of information technology systems. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has served in various sales and operations management positions that have strengthened his understanding of and ability to meet Hanover’s growing infrastructural needs. Ryder received his B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Sidney Phillips

Senior Vice President, Strategic Development
Sid acts as the Senior Vice President for Strategic Development, leading business development initiatives across enterprise and non-profit sectors. He is charged with expanding Hanover’s research and grant offerings, as well as identifying additional growth opportunities through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Sid has worked in various capacities during his tenure with Hanover and received his B.A. from the University of Virginia.
