Building “Ready Now” Leaders: Korn Ferry Releases Final Installment in Hanover-Guided Succession Matters Campaign

Korn Ferry, the preeminent authority on leadership and talent, released today the third and final report in its “Succession Matters” series: a marketing campaign based on an in-depth, global, executive study conducted by Hanover Research. In this installment, the company notes over half of executives surveyed feel their organizations have a lack of “ready now” candidates to fill critical leadership roles. Further, findings show less than one-third of business leaders believe their organizations are effectively cultivating internal leaders.

Korn Ferry uses survey results as evidence when articulating the need for companies to implement impactful development and accelerated readiness programs deep within their leadership pipeline. Korn Ferry’s product offering, Assessment of Leadership Readiness, provides a simulation-based approach to close this readiness gap that Hanover’s analysis indicates exists in most companies today.
