A Hanover partner is prioritizing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to support students beyond academics. The partner values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and would like to implement SEL practices that align with its equity-focused priorities. Intentionally focusing on equity in SEL programming can increase the “relevance, accessibility, and potential benefits for all students.” Therefore, this report supports district leaders and staff by outlining strategies to implement SEL and guide equity-focused conversations districtwide.
