Iowa City Community School District Expands Its Research Capacity with Hanover’s Support

Partnering with Hanover Research was a logical conclusion for us because information is ubiquitous…but knowledge, on the other hand, is in short supply. Having a trusted partner that can help sift and winnow that information and actually translate it into knowledge that is applicable on our research teams and in our schools was the key reason why we chose to partner with Hanover.

I think one of the most important things for districts to consider when they think of Hanover as a partner is the word ‘partner’. We have been very blessed to have a long-term relationship with Hanover, and part of that partnership is a dedicated team that Hanover provides for our district. They understand our staff, they understand our needs, they understand the context of our district. Conversely, our team really understands Hanover and they understand the work that they do. One of the things that allows us to do is to ask very candid questions that may expose weaknesses in our team—areas we do not have expertise and knowledge—and reaching out to Hanover helps us close those gaps.
