In the coming year, a key goal for Otterbein University will be to understand the current landscape, during and after COVID-19. In order to achieve a sustainable future, we need to understand what additional enrollment streams are attainable in our crowded marketplace, our position in the market, and what our real price point is.
As we had not had an external market research partner since 2011-12, we felt it was time to get a qualified understanding of the marketplace. Hanover’s ability to begin research projects quickly was a significant factor in the decision to partner; additionally, we found value in the subscription model, knowing that we could identify projects to meet our needs over time. We believe that Hanover has the tools to help us access and understand the data necessary to Otterbein’s success.
