The decision to use an external partner did not come easily for us at Texarkana Arkansas School District. It was something we discussed as a cabinet, then with our Board, before determining we needed an external partner who would be non-biased and ask us to look at things from a different perspective. As the pandemic has become more manageable, we as a district have found ourselves drawn in many directions with little ability to focus; our current strategic plan is in its final year, and we know we want to partner with someone to help us build a strong strategy that revisits our vision, mission, and core beliefs. We believe partnering with Hanover Research will help us look at where we are now, where we want to be, and how we plan to get there.
The Texarkana Arkansas School District has been providing quality education for the city of Texarkana, Arkansas since 1884. Their committed staff of educators hold high student exceptions and provide a challenging curriculum to push them toward success. TASD believes community and family engagement in the educational process is one key to their classroom success.
