In an effort to curb student attrition, our college wants to engage students who have dropped out to understand why they chose to leave. We decided to partner with Hanover due to the fit of the product/service offerings that would help us achieve this goal. Hanover’s Dropped Student Survey will allow us to learn from a systematic collection of actual student voices to better understand why students drop out. For those considering taking on an external partner, consider the all-in approach to self-evaluation, rather than leaving it to your in-house research staff—a professional expert can gather evidence objectively and communicate results so that everyone can have an equal voice in deliberating and designing solutions.
