Across the next 6-8 months, the U.S. Department of Education is expected to hold competitions for three major TRIO grant programs – Upward Bound (UB), Upward Bound Math-Science (UBMS), and Veterans Upward Bound (VUB).
In this webinar, we will provide guidance to Upward Bound grant-seekers to improve their chances of success. The session will include:

    • Overviews of the UB, UBMS, and VUB programs
    • Key strategies and practices for developing competitive applications
    • Considerations for current grantees and those new to the programs
    • Common mistakes and missteps to avoid in developing proposals

Following our core presentation, Hanover will provide a walkthrough of a funded Upward Bound proposal from the previous competition, reviewing examples of the best approach in developing sections of the application.
